WAYS TO THE LIGHT
Prof. Dr. Manfred Wagner
Light(sculpture) is the central theme of the
artist.
This three-dimensional approach is compressed to two-dimensionality (layers)
by producing emptiness (omission - striped, geometrical, perforated) and a
transparent background (white). The result is a specific "pictorial" quality
of the nearly undescribable phenomenon of constantly changing light.
