CRITICS

Prof. Dr. Manfred Wagner

Gabriela Medvedova is a radical artist. Her major theme is light. Light is the basis of her existence and the dimension of her creative ability displayed on materials, shapes, transparency, dimensions, arrangements and explorations. She is not bothered by the limitations of space but integrates the city by a glance through a window glance; she is not frightened of trivialities and associations. The artist struggles to acknowledge the objects of her painting and her life through illumination, lighting and recognition.
